Sep 10, 2016Lawrence Norfolk is a British author of four historical novels: Lemprière’s Dictionary (1991), The Pope’s Rhinoceros (1996), In the Shape of a Boar (2000), and John Saturnall’s Feast (2012), the latter about an orphan who becomes the greatest cook of the seventeenth century. Lawrence has won the Somerset Maugham Award and the Budapest Festival Prize for Literature. His books have been translated into 24 languages.
