RICK STEIN OBE - 2016
Sep 10, 2016Rick Stein OBE is a well-known celebrity chef, restaurateur, TV presenter and author of numerous cookery books. Rick moved to Padstow straight after university 1971 and built up a successful business. By 2015 he owned four restaurants and several other food and cookery outlets, including a cookery school. He has won numerous awards such as the Glenfiddich Award for his book English Seafood Cookery (1989), and in 2003 he was awarded an OBE for services to tourism in Cornwall.
